ServiceNet’s Employee Recognition Dinner Celebrated Teamwork, Dedication, and Compassionate Care

ServiceNet held its Employee Recognition Dinner on March 15. With 300 guests in attendance, the event provided an opportunity for colleagues to come together and express appreciation for one another’s contributions.

Attendees enjoyed dinner, dancing, and an award ceremony, making it a memorable evening for all. This also marked ServiceNet’s first in-person awards dinner since 2020.

One highlight of the event was the presentation of the inaugural Employee Recognition Awards. These peer-nominated awards aim to honor individuals who demonstrated exceptional commitment and compassion in their roles within the organization.

Direct care staff Donna Weed, Emily Whitebear, Joss Dore, and Mamady Keita were each awarded Lois Raj House or Program Awards, named after long-time direct care staff member Lois Raj, who passed away earlier this year. The staff of Amherst House was also awarded a Lois Raj House or Program Award in her honor. Staff from Amherst House and Raj’s son attended the event to accept the award.

Ann Augustine, Director of Outpatient Clinic Services, was awarded a Clinical and Outpatient Award for her dedication in supporting clients on their wellness journey. Christian Barnes, Outreach counselor for the MH Franklin Team 2, and Monica Pedraza, Lead Milieu Counselor at PREP, were awarded Outreach and Peer Support Awards for exceptional dedication and empathy in providing vital outreach and support services to clients. Sophrona Tardy, Senior Administrative Assistant at REACH Early Intervention, was awarded the Administrative Support Award. This award recognizes outstanding teamwork and dedication behind the scenes, ensuring the smooth operation of the organization.

Erin Forbush, Director of Shelter and Housing, was awarded the Visionary Leader Award, celebrating visionary leadership and commitment to ServiceNet’s core values. Beth Fogle, Case Manager at the Greenfield Family Inn, and Meagan Golightly, Speech Pathologist at the Strive Clinic, were honored with Emerging Leader Awards for their leadership contributions within their programs.

ServiceNet extended gratitude to all nominees, who were also recognized with ServiceStar awards and gifts.

Additionally, attendees had the chance to participate in raffle draws, with prizes including an autographed Al Horford Celtics jersey donated by USI and a new gas grill donated by Manny’s Appliances.
