ServiceNet Community Artwork to Serve as Inaugural Art Show at Greenfield Public Library

ServiceNet, a leading non-profit provider of mental health and human services in Western Massachusetts, is proud to announce that an exhibit featuring their community members’ works will be the inaugural community art display at the new Greenfield Public Library, which opened last July.

The exhibit at the library will run from Saturday, April 6, through the end of May.

This exhibit will include a diverse collection of paintings, photography, and other visual art, representing the unique perspectives and creativity of more than 20 artists—all of whom are members of the ServiceNet community. ServiceNet provides essential services to people living with mental health challenges, developmental delay or disability, brain injury, homelessness, substance use issues, and other challenges.

A reception will be held on May 1 from 4 –7 pm, welcoming the public to celebrate the transformative power of art in fostering connection and building community.

“We are excited to bring our show to the Greenfield Public Library,” said Amy Timmins, ServiceNet’s Vice President of Community Relations, “and to highlight the talent and creativity of artists throughout the agency. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the library for hosting us as their first community art show.”

“Greenfield Public Library is pleased to launch its local artist exhibition program with this inaugural show,” said Library Director Anna Bognolo. “We are delighted that the ServiceNet artists will be able to share their work with our community, and we hope that the show encourages other local artists to submit their own exhibition request to the library.”
