REACH Early Intervention Celebrates Relationships and Community with Annual Picnic

ServiceNet’s REACH Early Intervention program brought families, staff, and friends together for its annual summer picnic in August. This event, a highlight for many, has taken place at Look Park for over 30 years.

This year’s picnic featured face painting, art projects, bubbles, and much more, all while enjoying an array of delicious foods.  As a special surprise, the Florence Fire Station paid a visit and gave tours of their fire truck.

“Our annual picnic showcases our commitment to comprehensive family support, child development, and building a close-knit community. It’s a day that truly reflects the essence of REACH,” says Prity Shah, director of the Hampshire County REACH program.

REACH works with children from birth to age three who have various risk factors or developmental delays, forming a partnership with parents to assure their children get the best possible start, and assisting families with their child’s transition to preschool. REACH services are available to families in Hampshire County, Franklin County, and the North Quabbin region.
