Manny’s Appliances: Growing for Good Campaign Sponsor Spotlight
Manny’s Appliances
Harvest Sponsor
Founded in 1976 in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, Manny’s has become New England’s fastest growing appliance retailer with ten convenient locations throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. Manny’s stores have always been committed to supporting their local communities.
Over the years, Manny’s has become well-acquainted with ServiceNet, having sold and serviced many of their residential programs’ appliances. When Manny’s heard about the vocational services project at Prospect Meadow Farm, they saw it as a natural fit with their own company vision, given its focus on expanding vocational training opportunities right here in western Massachusetts.
What is the Growing for Good Campaign?
ServiceNet’s Growing for Good Campaign is a fundraising campaign to support Prospect Meadow Farm’s new Vocational Training and Production Center.
With the generous support of our sponsors and donors, as well as a $595,000 grant from the state’s Executive Office of Housing & Economic Development, ServiceNet’s Prospect Meadow Farm—a therapeutic vocational farming program for individuals with developmental disability, autism, or brain injury—is transforming the 3,200 square-foot residential farmhouse located at 103 Prospect Street in Hatfield into a modern vocational training and production center.
Updates include a modern, fully equipped commercial production kitchen and food packaging center, dedicated space for the farm’s pre-vocational program, expanded classroom space, an outdoor pavilion, and much more. These significant upgrades will enhance and expand participants’ experience, increase our ability to offer more services to more people, and prepare the farm for decades more of supporting our participants to live their lives to the fullest.
