CSA Shares Now Available for Purchase at ServiceNet’s Prospect Meadow Farm
ServiceNet’s Prospect Meadow Farm is excited to announce the launch of its 2024 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, offering an abundance of farm-fresh delights for members.
Running from June 17th to October 21st, the 19-week CSA shares offer a weekly supply of freshly harvested produce, complemented by access to the farm’s pick-your-own flowers and herbs garden.
In addition to the weekly vegetables, these shares include bi-weekly eggs and up to two pounds of farm pork over the season. The shares come in full, half, and residential group home sizes, and there is a senior/low-income price option.
The farm is also expanding the share program to the Berkshires by adding a pick-up site in Pittsfield. Other pick-up locations include Hatfield, Chicopee, and Northampton.
From lettuce and cucumbers to strawberries and shiitake mushrooms, these CSA shares promise to delight the taste buds and nourish the body. By participating in the CSA program, members not only enjoy farm-fresh produce but also contribute to the vocational programming for individuals with disabilities at Prospect Meadow Farm, fostering a sense of community and support.
