Anonymous Donor Contributes $15,000 to ServiceNet’s Wellness Program

ServiceNet is excited to announce a generous $15,000 donation from an anonymous donor to support its Wellness Program, which offers free, participant-led exercise and nutrition coaching to individuals facing mental health challenges.

The Wellness Program provides one-on-one sessions with Health Mentors, who guide participants in achieving meaningful short-term and long-term wellness goals. The program focuses on improving health markers, reducing disease risk, and enhancing participants’ overall sense of wellbeing through sustainable lifestyle changes tailored to their unique needs.

“This donation is a game-changer for our program,” said Megan Reed, Director of the Wellness Program. “It allows us to continue providing personalized support to our participants, helping them build confidence, improve their health, and achieve greater independence. The gift also brings us closer to our goal of expanding the program to reach even more individuals.”

Currently, the Wellness Program is available to participants receiving services at the Northampton Outpatient Clinic. To better accommodate the needs of participants and enhance program offerings, ServiceNet is planning to relocate the Wellness Program to a newly renovated space in downtown Northampton.

“Our Wellness Program embodies ServiceNet’s commitment to holistic, participant-centered care,” said Polly Normand, Vice President of Community Programs. “This generous gift not only sustains the work we’re doing but also underscores the importance of integrating mental and physical health to support overall wellbeing. Moving to the new space will help us meet the growing demand and create an even more supportive environment for our participants.”
